Dreams

every have one of those dreams where you wake up really suddenly.
and you don't know if whats around you is real or not?

its kinda alarming....

and then the question of was that dream real, and the emotions that follow.

but most alarming of all, is why did our minds dream that up?how could you possible come up with something like that?! its not in our nature, its not who we are, we've never acted like that in real life before....
or is it in our nature?
is it merely suppressed?

guess it must be part of who we are, otherwise were dreaming other peoples dreams.
but if its a part of who you are, how do you change it?

long time no talk

so... its been a while since iv blogged, if you havnt noticed.

so a lil recap:

- moved into the new flat.... been so so... although now our flatmate is moving out... so were on the look for a new one.

- Unis gone back. was great but wasnt to bad either. am puting alot more effort in now, although still needs to be more.

and thats about it.
not much to report, not much to say, not to the world anyway, but yea.

man it would awsum to be a vampire...
you could put ur whole hand straight through someone if they pissed you off!!!

realisation

Ever realised that were kind of helpless
i mean... im just lying here in bed, unable to sleep, thinking.

realising that no matter how much i study, no matter how much i earn, it wont be enough to make a real difference to this world?

its like we just go about to sustain ourselves...

like our movie stars... think, in 30 years, johny deep may mean nothing to the next generation, and that they may have new movie stars...

and so the cycle just goes on...

so how do we change this!!! i want to change this! i want to change things!
but i realise now that going to uni every day is not getting it done...

so what can we do>?

And it begins again

A new academic year begins for those of us here in canterbury on monday...
a whole year of study, drama's, THE HUB, all nighters to finish homework etc.

a new start.

kind of worrying, last year went by so quick, only 2 or 3 years left with study...
then life changes.

no more lectures, no more teachers, just a boss and a pay slip.

i personally would prefer things to be just as they are right now forever, but we dont always get what we want now do we :)

Insain Computer Angst...

hm, ok, so i was talking to an old friend about computers and breaking systems etc. and he sent me to a sight on a hack carried out on a macbook.
put simply, the guy took advantage of a usb wireless card pluged into a macbook,and used that as an access point to get complete control of the computer.

i no that sounds dull...
anyway... after reading about it and watching the video, i read through some of the comments.....

now, it was done on a macbook due to the fact that thats what they had, to show it works on most operating systems, not just windows, and also coz the whole "mac is so secure" bullshit that the im a pc, im a mac adds give off...

the thing is... i read the comments, and it was insain...
so many guy bitching about how great windows is, and how great mac is...
it was STUPID!
like blah blah... mac never has security issues...
blah blah ,more people using macs, more threat of security being broken as bigger insentive etc....
blah blah winblow sux.... blah blah

now i no michael doesnt like mac... and i no most windows users dont ( i didnt use to) but then you try it... and its not all that bad at all....

but no operating system is perfect, and no operating system is secure....
systems can always be broken...

so for god sakes people... stop fighting over it.... i swear, some of these mac addicts, who cant just take criticism and post a smart reply...makes me ashamed to be associated with you...
