Woman=Liability

sigh
another pay day... another day of being poor.
stats test tomorrow... going to fail.
it just seems like another one of those days, whats the point?!

i pay $40,ooo to get a piece of paper that says he can add?
so i can go out and get a job....
sigh
Rich dad poor dad... and award winning book revelutionised my views on accounting.
with the simple concept of an asset is something that makes you money, a liability is something that costs you money.

a car is a liability
a house is a liability
a girlfriend is a liability (although generally mine are assets)

and so Uni is a liability...
makes you think.
maybe we would be better off working...
i believe you can learn more from doing something than reading about it?

Haha only $40,000?

Dude, you pretty much have free lodging so feel fucking lucky man...

In total my course fees will be $60000 without any accomodation.

Add about 10grand a year for 6 years...Wow thats like a shitty house.

But I guess it'll all be worth it in the end...

Oh and if you were an employer, how else would you know whether or not a person can do accounting or not? Especially if its another profession which isn't referred to simply "adding/subtracting" eg. econs?

Haha so yours are assets huh...That can be taken in so many ways :p

You can learn more by doing things but companies generally hire people to do the work straight away, not have to teach them the ropes...Which is where the university comes in!!

Um-uni doesnt teach you.
uni teaches you the skills, not how to use them... companies want pple who know how to prepare a report properly.. not sum newb outa uni whos never worked a day in ther lifes, other than "study"

Lol I'm not whining, just trying to show a different side...

Well I'm guessing vinnie, is that Uni teaches you how to write reports? Right?

In my view study is ultimately the learning of how to use that info to do ur job...I think

The Uni can only provide "opportunities" to you...whether you "work hard"/"take" that "opportunity" really depends on yourself in the end.

NO PAIN...NO GAIN...<<--- stop making excuses my brother.

Well duh, I mean, your only going to get how much you put into it...

Which is strange bcos I'm working my ass off and still getting mediocre marks :(
